I feel successful in terms of my exercise levels now. I feel somewhat successful in terms of my actual progress. I have managed to exercise regularly without making myself completely miserable.
(And we've all seen how miserable I get when something is biochemically out of whack. I am taking the multi-vitamins that seem to bridge the lack of whatever. I put them in "day of the week" containers so I can see whether I've taken today's.)
I think my progress is phenomenal. So I'm happy ignoring any negativity from an external source when it's not medically relevant.
I did find it amusing that the doctor had forgotten the fat arm thing because it had been such a huge hassle since it was misplaced.
