serynThey canceled Finder. It might have been too quirky, but I really liked it and I'm disappointed. They didn't cancel Bones, which has been horrendous this season, not to mention completely alien to the original character who was actually smart and childfree in early seasons.
The new Sharpie pens are kind of nifty. Obviously they'd be better if they came in purple.
I'm thinking about buying one of those electric ice cream/sorbet machines, but I'm concerned it will require me to find room in the freezer for the core.
Yet again I wish everything was priced with tax included.
I think for my vacation I should stay in a hotel. I was talking with friends and remembered the weirdness of how B&Bs all serve vegetarian breakfast now.
PS. The hat store where I bought the enpictured hat (see icon) is online now... sort of. They have a website that says their address and that they sell hats and gives their phone number. They don't even have email. I can't actually call Canada. I don't have an international calling plan and I don't want to add it for 1 call. I'd install Skype to be able to talk to them, but somehow I doubt a place that can't handle email could possibly do video chat. I'm thinking about printing out the hat picture and asking if they have anything else like that.... and giving my email address and phone number. Honestly, you'd think they could at least say what a catalog costs. (Roberta's Hats, Victoria, BC... if you're ever there it's the best hat store I've ever been to. Their being days away in another country kind of sucks though.)
