I guess. People my age tend to stop by on their way somewhere. So we eat with them, chat with them, and then they leave. So it's probably more of a duration thing than a type of visitor thing.

In this case we had an activity planned for one day, but I simply did not feel well enough to participate. My SO barely drives so it was going to be horrible for him to go without me. I'm not sure what the definition of migraine is officially, but any kind of death!headache with neon colored flashy bits you can taste or smell (ozone and strawberry hair) probably precludes driving until you're sure it's not coming back. And honestly I didn't want to be 2 hours from home the first day afterward either, so even if I hadn't been required to drive, I still wouldn't have wanted to go.
