book: Naked Dragon by Blair

I read Naked Dragon by Annette Blair. I bought it used. It was like bad fic. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. But I shouldn't have. 1.5 out of 5.

But. Random shit appears for no reason. Dragon man has a tattoo which isn't mentioned until near the end of the book and has no purpose. When the female lead's very pregnant friend loses her house, a whole wing of the Victorian being converted suddenly appears and the reason no one was using it is a rumored curse.

people make me tired.

We went to the neighborhood block party tonight. It was okay but 2 hours of standing around with people I don't know isn't exactly brilliant. Hot dogs, however, are vastly improved by being grilled.

Tai chi was good today. We didn't have any new people so there was more of the fun chi gong parts and less of explaining how to do the fun parts. The tai chi part was meh. I can't decide if the instruction is bad, if the choreography is butt-stupid, or if this is actually hard. I suck at it. After months, I still can't remember the whole routine, which takes like 3 minutes.

I've been watching the fourth season of Doc Martin and I'm not enjoying it so much. I'm sure it's because the focus has shifted from Martin being a fish out of water through no fault of his own to people laughing at Martin for not fitting in. No one in Port Wenn is exactly normal. The place is the live-action version of the Island of Misfit Toys.

Veronica Mars has turned out to be really lovely. I can understand why people were so gung-ho about it. I'm almost sorry I missed it when it was on.

Haven't successfully planned any trips, but I have whole tabsets. It's just impossible to choose anything.
