Went to gym tonight. Even though I'm still getting those headaches when I'm too active. Skipped all the nasty cardio stuff. Just lifted weights. It doesn't make my head hurt more, and it sort of makes me feel better. Some of the cardio stuff really does hurt my head viciously.

(It's not really a migraine in that I don't have side effects like light sensitivity or nausea... but there are weird flashy bits that taste and smell like things I recognize. I can deal with it hurting since it stops when I sit still, but the synesthesia is scary-ass.)

Scale says the same number. But that's after 2 weeks of really light exercise (only went 4 times total) and a number of restaurant meals with guests. Of course that means if I hadn't slacked off it might be better.... still, not my fault.

However, I have been tracking my blood pressure throughout this project and have seen a tremendous improvement. Even with a headache, my numbers are better.

Today's cooking experiment was tomato shortbread. It was really horrible. So now I'm looking to bake 8 dozen sugar cookies tomorrow and Wednesday. Plus go to the store to buy icing sugar and fancy food colorings. I'm thinking I should wait until Wednesday afternoon because then the final 2 teams will be decided. And yes, I now know the time offset for South Africa. Oh the stupid places we will go.

I might make some chocolate shortbread though.

Still have 2 books to comment upon, The Runaway Dragon by Kate Coombs and JR Ward's Lover Mine. I didn't really like either one, but some of that is personal preference.
