I got together with

corrvin to make a DW group where people could be creative.

We wanted it to be a place where people could talk about ideas for things they might want to make, and where it wasn't full of the kinds of exclusionary politics like many of the knitting groups (who are often anti-crocheters and often tacitly anti-man).

It also seems like each of the groups is only about their specific topic, which doesn't leave a lot of room for things which cover multiple disciplines.
