Tonight we watched the most recent In Plain Sight. The guy was non-functional social-anxiety disorder and they treated it with marijuana, which is (of course) against federal law, therefore a problem for the federal marshalls. Someone should isolate whatever it is in pot that's the active ingredient and put it out in pills insurance pays through the teeth for. Problem solved.
Plus it eliminates the idea that some people are special and can blow lung-destroying second-hand smoke into the air, unlike the smokers of currently legal tobacco. I hate the arguments that pot smokers aren't hurting anyone else because obviously we believe smoking anything is harmful. I might buy that being high on pot doesn't hurt anyone else if they had it in pills or a cough syrup or suppositories.
I'd actually really like that last option. Then only the people who were really serious about needing it for a medical condition would use it since it would be unpleasant.
