It's 9 o'clock and all's well

serynToday seems to be looking up. It's already an hour later than when yesterday delved below the line indicating failure.
I also realized that because I stopped drinking coffee, I don't actually need more milk. Which means I don't actually have to go to the grocery store. I'm to the point today that I need to stay home.
I have holiday knitting to do. And it is going awesomely so far.
Now I have something I can be positive about, so I will share.
First, the guacamole from yesterday is awesome!
Second, I found an install guide for Might and Magic VII on Vista... which offers up a second patch. There is no real assurance that will be the miraculous patch that will make it work on my current computer (which is still running 2000.) But it does give me hope. I love that game.
My woolly blanket, that I bought while it was still hot out and felt extremely foolish over, has become a huge success. It is the perfect size (which despite the F/Q/K sizing is not always assured). It stays put, mostly; which is a vast improvement over the velour blanket it replaced. And it is as warm as a blanket and comforter together were last winter.
I'm going to wash some laundry today because I'm out of undershirts. That is something else that makes me smile... I bought 10 men's undershirts (in L because they shrink) for the cost of one camisole for women... Mine are smoother than the cotton camisole, they don't pinch my chest, and because there are 10 of them that can be tossed in the washer, I can wear one every day. I find that under layer really helps with my heat management. It keeps me cooler in the summer and warmer in winter. The warmer in winter part is helpful for reducing nipple pointiness due to chills. It also reduces antiperspirant stains on my public clothes.
