I can see a palm full of stars.
Jan. 6th, 2010 10:19 pmwow. I am so glad I spent the money on the new glasses. The computer viewing part is about the same. I'm not totally thrilled with the aesthetics of my glasses.
But the stellar thing is I can see my knitting when I look down from watching TV. A couple years ago, I would have been fine if I could have had clear glass in the bottom half of the lens, or high-mount half-glasses (the opposite of "readers"). But now.. I'm older and I really like having lensed correction for close up things.
I was able to knit faster and after an hour-long program's worth of knitting, I didn't have a headache. I am very very pleased with the correction.
But I might need to spend even more money and get another pair made into my old frames.
