Shoe Tie, Shoo Fly Pie, iPod sigh
Jan. 19th, 2010 11:37 amThere are days when I love the internet. Today there were instructions for how to tie shoes. Sure, we all know how to tie shoes, but I'd never known that it mattered which lace end you started with. I constantly end up with shoes that untie themselves to my frustration. Turns out to be an easy fix if I just start with the other hand.

Also today there was a NYT blog post saying that California farm workers have a much higher incidence of diabetes, and a study suggests pesticide exposure. I will be interested to find out whether doctors start testing people for metabolized pesticide residues or if they will continue with blaming the patients the way they do for everything else.
I would like the magic of the internets to continue... a LJ friend posted a poll about the iPod random play love.. My iPod plays the absolute worst songs in my collection first last and always. No matter what I do to rate the songs, in 10 minutes all I do is hit skip until I'm annoyed. Does anyone have a suggestion? I removed all but 100 favorite songs from the player and it still played the worst ones of those first. Do I need an iPod exorcism?
