I'm looking to upgrade my layout. I despise the orange and blue monstrosity, but when I tried just changing the colors in the widget, I got truckloads of fail.

I'd also like more icons.

If you, dear reader, would also like these things, feel free to nudge me a little.

It falls in my list of priorities whenever I'm not looking at it.

The colors don't bug me--so many people have them. :)

I adjusted mine via the colors in the widget. Did you use Expand All before starting? It helps to be able to see all the places where a particular color is used before one starts changing any of them.

I saw your color scheme and liked it a lot better.

So I investigated and found the widget. I'm not sure what was going on, but I ended up with a lot of white on pale-blue arrangements with hideous orange stripes around various lavender boxes. It looked horrible and I felt so stupid that I just told it to reset to the defaults.

I might try again, or switch base themes and try again.
